Murray, Totara Flat, to Allan Arthur Fitzgerald, of Waipuna. Rev. R. R. Seaton, of Reefton, officiated. Mr and Mrs Fitzgerald left later, for Christchurch.

In view of her approaching marriage, an evening was tendered Miss J. Morris by the Runanga Girls’ Club in the Presbyterian Hall. Miss J.. Heward, on behalf of the club, presented the guest with a crystal vase and a novelty door-stop. Miss Morris suitably replied. Miss Heward and Miss Morris won the competitions. Misses E. Davison and M. Tyson were the hostesses. On the occasion of her approaching marriage Miss K. Mintrom was met by fellow-officers of the Pensions Department at morning tea yesterday. In presenting her with a Royal Doulton morning tea set, the Registrar (Mr E. A. Bastings), referred appreciatively to the esteem in which Miss Mintrom is held by all who ? have come in contact with her during her service, due to her unfailing ccurtesy and tact, and he conveyed to her the best wishes of all present for her future happiness and prosperity.
