Mr Chamberlain announced in the Commons, (hat three agreements had been signed with Turkeys granting credits of ten million sterling for goods manufactured in Britain, enabling Turkey to order warships and other war material. Turkey agreed to the provisions to clear off past arrears. TURKS ATTACK ARABS. ALEXANDRETTA', May 27. Turks swooped down on an Arab village near Antioch. One person was killed and three wounded. AU newspapers have been suspended. HAIFA, May 26. Gunmen raided the village of Miska and demanded to see the leading villagers. They shot them point-blank as they approached, killing four’ and wounding three. Troops pursued the raiders and 1 killed six.
