W.F.A. MEETING. The weekly meeting of the Westland Football Association was held last evening. Present, Mr W. Rafferty (in chair) Messrs W. Paton, C. Hodgson, R. Bowman, G. Craig, F. M Smyth and D. Wallis (secretary). The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was received and dealt with.

A letter was received from the West Coast Rugby Union, refusing to accept the responsibility for breaking a cross-bar. Strong exception was taken by the members of the W.F.A. to the personal nature of the Rugby Union’s reply. It was decided that a letter of protest should be sent to the New Zealand Council pointingyjQut that no reply has yet been received from the Buller F.A. re the challenge for the Peter Dawson Cup. IL was decided that all Clubs should adhere to the rule of forwarding to the Centre 20 per cent of their gatetakings. Tech Old Boys were granted permission to play Christchurch Tech Old Boys Reserve Grade team on the King’s Birthday. The Runanga Club were givfiiL permission to invite the Christchurch Y.M.C.A. team on the same date. It was decided to hold a boys’ flve-l a-side tournament on the King’s' Birthday commencing at 10 a.m. at the Recreation Ground. The age limit! for seniors was fixed at 17 years and under and for the juniors at 14 years! and under. Entries are to be Invited from the Primary Schools. TO-DAY'S MATCH. Tech 0.8. v.
