BY SYDNEY JUDGE. SYDNEY, May 11. Mr Justice Cantor yesterday ad- - vised strikers at Lysaght’s (Newcastle) works to resume work under award conditions. He advised Lysaght’s to re-engage the men and refrain from any victimisation. The judge said: “I have come to the conclusion that I should now announce the conditions which in my opinion should govern the immediate resumption of work under the award. “They are as follow: (1) Work shall be resumed under the award. (2) After the company has been notified by the union of the willingness of ' the men to resume work it should, as soon a,s possible, arrange for the starting up of the works. “It should give the union and the local qranch particulars of the arrangements in writing. “Any suggestions which the association desires to make with to those arrangements should be considered by the company. “If desired by the association the company should meet an officer of the NjS.W. division and two representatives appointed by the local branch “When the men offer for' employment they should be taken back as required as each department starts? without regard to that they or any of them took part in a stoppage of work. “All claims should be submitted to the appropriate tribunal under the Industrial Arbitration Act.” concluded the judge.
