(Per Press Association.] DANNEVIRKE, May 16. In a rough wrestling bout, Blomfield beat Tonti. The latter secured a fall in the fourth round. Blomfield in the sixth clamped his opponent, and in the seventh with the same hold incapacitated him. DUNEDIN, May 15. Pat Meehan (16st 31b) and Jack Kennedy (16st 41b) entertained a large crowd at the Town Hall on Saturday night in a Jvrestling contest which went the full distance Kennedy proved himself the better straight wrestler, and once he had a hold applied he’ held it well, but some of his tactics did not find favour with the crowd. i Meehan took the only fall of the contest with a body press in the sixth round, and when he staved off his opponent over the two remaining rounds his victory was popularly acclaimed.
