SYDNEY, April 27. Competing in the Town and Country Consolation Cup tournament today, the New Zealand B polo team, who received a goal and a half, were defeated by Queensland by eight goals to 44. The New Zealanders’ hitting was again faulty, especially near the goal, whereas their opponent’s goalie was superior. Scorers for New Zealand were Kay, Johnstone, and Henry. In the final of the Gordon MacLeod Memorial Cup, Town and Country Whites, comprising P. and G. Ashton, Sjkene, and Hawsley,' defeated South Australia by ten goals to 94, the latter receiving 54 goals.
