ST. PATRICK’S DAY

"KATHLEEN AROON” ON TUESDAY. St. Patrick’s Concert, at the Greymouth Town Hall on Tuesday evening next, promises to eclipse all previous functions, as there will be a delightful mixture of singing, dancing, and an Irish musical comedy p’ay, "Kathleen Aroon,” by leading local artists. Items will be given by the Marist and Convent pupils, and altogether a delightful bill of fare is assured. Reserves are being quickly taken up and intending patrons are advised to book early at Kilgour’s to avoid disappointment. “Kathleen Aroon” will be remembered as a sparkling Irish musical which played to large houses in Greymouth for three nights over four years ago. The cast includes Miss Doreen Donovan, Mr. Edward Henderson, Mr. James Duffy, Mrs. W. Connor, Miss Eunice Scott, Mr. J. Mclnroe, Mr. W. Connor, Miss Moira McSherry, Mr. Neil Collins, Miss Marie O’Neil, Mr. Don Reid, Mr. J. O’Connell, and Mr. Ray Walls. The assisting artists are Mrs. Plank and Mr. Tom Hatch, dancing pupils and ballets from Miss Dorothy Thwaites’ School of Dancing, and choruses. Delightful orchestral accompaniments will be provided by an orchestra under the Conductorship of Mr. Ron Stopforth. CHOPPING NOMINATIONS.
