The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 24ft Bin. The Gael sailed last evening for Hokitika. The Titoki, which arrived on Sunday from Tarakohe, sailed early this morning for Nelson and Tarakohe, and is to return on Friday to again load coal for Nelson. The Kauri is scheduled to sail to day for Adelaide. The Gale is expected to leave Wellington with cargo for Greymouth, including Kaikorai transhipments, and is due on Thursday morning to load coal for Wellington. The Kartigi is due on Friday from Wellington, to load coal and timber for Auckland. The Totara was unable to leave Wellington on Saturday, on account of rain, and consequently will not reach Bruce Bay, after bunkering at Westport, until to-morrow morning. She is to load timber at Bruce Bay for New Plymouth. The Poolta is due on February 28 from Wellington, to load coal for Wellington and timber for Petone, Miramar, and Wellington.

A U.S.S. Co. steamer is due about March 5 to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle. The Kaimai loads Greymouth and Hokitika cargo at Dunedin to-mor-row, and is due here early, via Westport, to complete loading for Napier and Gisborne.
