SYDNEY “LABOUR DAILY”

MR J. T. LANG REPAID. [Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received February 21, 11.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 21. The “Labour Daily” dispute, involving Mr J. T. Lang’s £13,764 debenture, together with interest of £4,125, and other charges, was settled to-day in the Equity Court. Mr Lang recently called up the debenture, and placed a receiver in charge of the “Labour Daily” offices and plant, at the same time stating that he had done so because many of the unions were collecting and retaining subscriptions which rightly belonged to the “Labour Daily.” "Labour Daily” Limited undertook to pay Mr Lang’s claims, and the Receiver in turn agreed to deliver possession of the “Labour Daily” offices and plant.
