“The traffic" problem in London and the suburbs is acute,” said Mr H. E. Grainger, of Hastings, who has recently returned from a 12 months' tour overseas. “On the great highways there is no restriction, and cars, go along at speeds up to 60 and 70 miles an hour. The roads are very congested, and there is a large roll of accidents. However, the HoreBelisha crossings in London are wonderful in making the streets safer for pedestrians,”
