The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 27ft. The Waimea is to leave Onehunga on Monday with general cargo for Nelson and Greymouth, being due here on December 23 to load timber for Port Waikato. The Rata sailed yesterday morning with coal and posts for New Plymouth and Tarakohe. The Karu left Wellington at 3 p.m. yesterday, and is due this afternoon to load timber for Wellington and Miramar. The Karepo leaves Wellington today with cargo for Greymouth and Hokitika. She is due to-morrow, and after "discharge of cargo from Melbourne, Lyttelton, and Wellington, will load for return to Wellington. The Kaimiro was to leave Auckland yesterday with cargo for Greymouth and Hokitika, and is due to load here on Saturday for Auckland and Portland. The Hokitika leaves Wellington tomorrow for Greymouth and Hokitika, with cargo. The Alexander is due on December 28 to load timber for Onehunga. (
