The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 25ft lOin. The Gabriella arrived on Saturday from Whangarei and is to sail to-djy with coal and timber for Auckland. The Rata from Tarakohe with cement for Greymouth, arrived yesterday, and will load for New Plymouth and Tarakohe. The Waimea arrived from Nelson on Saturday, to load timber for Onehunga. The Alexander from Petone for Greymouth direct is due to-day to load coal for Nelson. The Karu is due at noon on Wednesday, to load timber for Miramar and Wellington. The Karepo loads cargo for Greymouth and Hokitika at Lyttelton today. She proceeds to Greymouth via Wellington, and is due here on Friday. She also ; has a cargo from Melbourne. ■ The Kaimiro is due op Friday from Auckland, to load for Auckland and Portland.
