LUDENDORFF ILL. [Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] BERLIN, November 29. General Ludendorff was recently operated upon for a tumour. His condition is critical.

KING AND DUK.E OF KENT ON TOUR.

RUGBY, November 29.

This week, the King visits Devonshire and Cornwall. The tour begins at Morton Hampstead on Wednesday, when he travels by car for about 200 miles, viisting many towns and villages en route to Camborne, Cornwall. His call at Launceston will mark the first visit of an Englishreigning monarch to that town since Charles the First, and feudal customs will be revived for the occasion.

Visits to the Royal Duke farms and| other places will be made on Thursday, and the King returns to London that evening from Bath. The Duke of Kent will tour the social service centres in Scotland on Wednesday and Thursday. The ceremonies include the opening of the new Battle Abbey College, the first residential adult education college to be established in Scotland.
