NEW CONTROLLER. [Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] BERLIN, November 26. It is officially announced that Herr Hitler has relieved Dr. Schacht from the post of Minister for National Economy, in which General Goering will act until January 15, when Herr Funk, Under-Secretary to the Department of Propaganda, will take over office. Dr. Schacht will remain president of the Reichsbank, and he will also continue as Hitler's personal adviser as Reich Minister without portfolio.

It is officially stated .that Dr. Schacht was relieved of his post at his own request. Herr Hitler has sent him a letter thanking him for his services, and expressing his pleasure at Dr. Schacht’s decision to remain as president of the Reichsbank and Minister without portfolio.
