Timaru Convent Pupils
Quite a number of former .West Coast music students, now pupils of the Convent of Mercy, Craigie Avenue, Timaru, have during the present year, scored notable successes in various examinations and competitions. At the Trinity College Practical Examination, held in Timaru on October 13th, Mr Anderson Tyrer gave the following marks: — Professional Diploma:—Nancy Toohey, L.T.C.L. (practical) Solo Performer’s Diploma. LOCAL EXAMINATIONS. (Total 100, Honours 85, Merit Pass 75, Pass 65). Advanced Senior:—Una Murray (violin) 95.
