CROQUET
MAKURA CLUB'S GAME. On Saturday in beautiful weather, the Makura Croquet Club’s competitions were continued the winners being Mrs. Robertson and Miss Moss with 37 points. Other games resulted:
Mesdames McKay and Popple 33; Mrs. Moss and Miss McNight 24; Mes dames Mercer and Gore 17, Mesdames Logan and James 15; Mesdames Howard and Herring 15, Mesdames Wibley and Ray 14. . Next Saturday the Club will hold its monthly gala day, when all hon- t orary members are invited to be pre- z sent. Competitions will be conducted f , throughout the afternoon.
