OPPOSITION LEADER

SPEECH AT FEATHERSTON.

MASTERTON, November 28. A gathering of several hundred was addressed by Hon. Adam Hamilton in the grounds of Longwood, the Riddiford property, at Featherston, on Saturday. In his speech, Mr Hamilton urged the people to unite in defence of democracy and against thLaboui’ Government. He was warmly applauded and was cheered by the gathering. Mr Hamilton said they might have an election in May or June, or it might not come until November. They should not ae caught napping. Mr C. H. Weston, Dominion President of the National Party, who spoke previously, said Mr Hamilton intended to have his candidates in the field within the next few months.
