POLICE AND TEACHERS
POSITIONS REVERSED. When the Hon. F. E. O’Flynn, who is one of the newly-elected Legislative Councillors, took his seat for tne first time in the Council this week, he had as his benchmate the Hon. M. Connelly, who had specially arranged this for the reason that aftera lapse of many years it meant the coming together again of teacher and scholar. Mr. Connelly was a pupil in the Dobson School, about forty years ago, when Mr. O’Flynn was teaching there, but now he has the opportunity of acting as mentor to his old schoolmaster because of his longer experience of Council procedure.
