TECHNICAL SCHOOL
ANNUAL FETE AND EXHIBITION. On Tuesday last a meeting of ladies and the stalf was held in the school to make arrangements regarding the Annual School Fete, Proces-I sion and Exhibition. Mr. W. M. Stewart presided and there were pre-; sent Mesdames Lindsay, Stewart.] Leamont, Ford, Sharp, Congreve, and] Hansen. Misses Ray, and McDougall. ] Messrs Kehoe, and Mitchell. Apologies! were received from Mesdames Hut-] ton, Wilson, Gilbert, Lindbom. White.] Sandman and Kehoe. It was unanimously resolved that the proceeds be devoted to the Hal! Fund. It was decided that tne lune-, tion be held on Wednesday, Novem-I ber 3, and that the arrangements fol-, low those of former years—viz. Ex-1 hibition of School work, stalls, side, shows, and the usual grand procession through the town in the afternoon. Subject in some cases to the approval of those whose names were mentioned the following groups of ladies were appointed tentatively to manage affairs and generally control the organisation: Sweets Stall: Mesdames Learmont. Lindsay, White, and Wilson. Tea Rooms: The staff ladies and senior girls. Cakes: Mesdames Sharpe, Congreve, McKane, Lindbom, and Sandman; Jumble: Mesdames Ford. Hansen, Duncan, and Mettrick. Work Stall: Mesdames Stewart, Kehoe, Thomson. Bennington, McKenzie, Hutton, and Mac Kay. Produce: Mesdames Gilbert, Abbey, Kibble. Ice cream and soft drinks: Misses McKay, Stewart, and Seebeck. Chocolate Alley: Mr. Kehoe and Old Boys.
