Westland Tournament DRAW FOR WEEK-END. The Westland Golf Club’s Tournament will be held at the Mahinapua links, commencing on Saturday morning and continuing until Sunday afternoon. For the men’s bogey handicap on Saturday morning, competitors are asked to be at the links ready to start as early as possible. The starter will arrange the fours and will advise the starting point. Players arriving after 9.20 a.m. will have to take their places after the ladies Competitors in the Ladies’ Bogey Handicap must be ready to start at 9.30 a.m. The starter will arrange partners and the starting place on arrival.

TENNENT CUP—MEN. On Saturday afternoon the first Medal Handicap and concurrently the first round for the Tennent Cup, will be’ played. The following is the draw: Sixth Tec—l p.m.: P. BOGEY MATCH. A bogey match will be played next Sunday morning at Omoto. Contestants are to arrange their own scorers. AUSTRALIANS’ VISIT TO N.Z. FALLS THROUGH. WELLINGTON, September 15. The New Zealand Golf Council has received word from the Hamilton Golf Club that only two Australian players, H. W. Hattersley and Dr. Cutler, both of New South Wales, had entered for the New Zealand championships to begin at Hamilton on September 30. SYDNEY, September 15. The proposed unofficial visit of a team of prominent Australian golfers to New Zealand has fallen through. H. W. Hattersley will be the only Australian golfer to take part in the New Zealand championships. He will leave Sydney on September 24 for Auckland.
