CRASH IN PERU On a Hillside NINE LIVES LOST. [Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received September 16. 5.5 p.m.) LIMA (Peru), September 16. A passenger ’plane, from Africa, in ■Chile, is reported to have crashed into a hillside near Lurin. It is reported that the pilot and eight passengers were killed. DANE TO .ATTEMPT RECORD. FROM TOKIO TO LONDON. [Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received September 16, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. September 16. Captain Michael Hansen, who was the Danish participant in the Centenary Air Race to Australia, intends to make an attempt on the Tolrio-Lon-don record, which was established by the Japanese on April 9 last. He will fly a Percival Vega Gull plane, with two companions.
