After his funeral, it was announced that Andrew Mellon had bequeathed his entire fortune, estimated as from two hundred to three nundred million dollars, to educational and charitable trusts; with the exception of one hundred and eighty thousand dollars left to personal employees. It is pointed out that nis children are already adequately provided for. The late Mr Mellon’s fortune is estimated at five hundred million dollars, including the interests which he transferred to his children during his lifetime.
