Returns from Islands

AUCKLANu, August 26.

Absent from Auckland since June 12, on her first cruise of the Pacific islands, the flagship of the New Zealand division of the Royal Navy, the Achilles, returned to Auckland at 10 o’clock to-night, from Suva. The Achilles was originally scheduled to reach port at 10.30 to-morrow morning. On her arrival she was moored in the stream. She will berth at Devonport Naval Base in the morning. The cruiser made a fast voyage of‘three days from Suva.
