U.S.A. Planes Crash SEVEN LIVES LOST. [Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received August 24, 7.55 p.m.) SAN LUIS (Argentine), August 23. The crew of three were killed, when a Pan-American airliner in this locality chashed and was burned. There were no passengers aboard. (Received August 24, 8.5 p.m.) SAN DIEGO (California), August 23. A Navy flying boat crashed in the bay here. Three bodies have been recovered. It is reported that there are four dead, and three injured. SEARCH FOR SOVIET FLIERS. (Received August 24, 7.55 p.m.) WASHINGTON, August 23. The Soviet Embassy here announced that Sir H. Wilkins reached the seventy-eighth degree of latitude when fog and head winds forced him back to Coppermine River. He will resume the search as soon as it clears up.
