SOVIET BATTLE FLEET
Revolts on Vessels EIGHT EXECUTIONS [Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] PARIS, August 23. Reports reaching Pajjs from Leningrad state that revolts occurred in the Baltic Fleet after the return of the battleship Marat from the Coronation review at Spithead. Eight sailors were shot. They vyere allegedly ringleaders of a Trotskyite plot. Thirty-eight officers were arrested, 12 of after a trial, were reduced to the ranks for allowing the crew ashore during the English visit.
