HON. P. C. WEBB, MINISTER OF MINES. Mr P. C. Webb was elected to Parliament from Runanga in 1913, as Member for the Grey Electorate, and remained a Member for Parliament for five years until’ 1918, when he was sent to prison for his convictions. He was deprived of his civil rights for a period of ten years, and on the death of the late H. E. Holland in 1933, was elected for Buller, which now includes a portion of his old Seat.
