Four Killed FIVE INJURED. NEW YORK, August 10. A message from Daytona Beach states that a number were killed and critically injured, when a passenger 'plane crashed, shortly after its takeoff, en route to Chicago. Three were killed and six seriously injured in the crash. A temporary electric-supply line, constructed on the outskirts of the field without the knowledge of the officials, allegedly caused the-crash. LATER. Four are dead in the Daytona Beach crash. TASMAN FLIGHT. SYDNEY, August 11. The Minister of Defence (Sir A. Parkhill) stated that the decision as to whether Royal Australian Air Force men will undertake a Tasman flight in the Bristol-Bohngbroke machines, which will be here shortly, will'be made when Mr. Nash returns from abroad. Sir A. Parkhill added that many details of defence co-operation between Australia and New Zealand will be settled on Mr. Nash’s return.
