COMING SESSION

Parliament’s Work HEALTH bill in new year. I Per Press Association], WELLINGTON, August 6. The National Superannuation and Health Bill, which will probably oe the most important piece of legislation to be dealt with during the coming session, will not be ready for presentation till after Christmas, according to a statement made by the Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage). The measure would be passed during the coming session, he said, but he expected that the session would run into the New Year, when the Bill would be dealt with. Mr Savage added that he was not in a position to say what major legislation would be considered during the coming session, but fie indicated that the Budget and Estimates would be introduced at an early date. He said that the Government had minor Bills that would be presented, but he had not yet had time to study the full programme for the session.
