Arrived, 11.40 a.m., Kaimiro, from Greymouth. MELBOURNE, August 5. Arrived, Gera, from Westport. AUCKLAND, August 6. Arrived, Monterey, from San Francisco; Larchbank, from Nauru. NOTES. The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 23ft 9in. Owing to the delay occasioned to the Kaimiro at Greymouth, it has been necessary to make a transposition in the vessels loading at this port, and the Kaimiro will now take the Kartigi’s loading for Auckland and Portland. She is due here about Wednesday next to load coal and timber for these ports. The Titoki is to sail to-day for Nelson. She returns on Monday to load coal and posts for New Plymouth and Wanganui. The Waimea is scheduled to sail today with timber for Onehunga. The Omana is being delayed in loading timber by rain, and is to sail early next week for Melbourne and Adelaide. The Gabriella is loading coal for Wellington, and is expected to sail this evening. The Hokitika is due to-day. from Wellington, with general cargo, and after discharge will proceed to Hokitika. The Karu now leaves Wellington al 10 a.m. to-day, and will load coal at Greymouth on Monday, for Wellington. She returns about August 14 to load timber for Wellington and Miramar. The James Cook left Sydney on Thursday with cargo for New Zealand ports, and is due at Greymouth on August 23, to load timber for Sydney. The Kalingo is expected to load timber for Sydney at Greymoulh about the end of next week.
