[Per Press Association], NELSON, August 5. The death occurred early this morning, with tragic suddenness, of the five-year-old son of Mr and Mrs Ralph Turley, formerly of Christchurch, and now of Nelson. Yesterday afternoon the boy fell and cut his head, the fall apparently resulting in internal haemorrhage. WELLINGTON, August 5. Wages and overtime rates are all that remain to be settled after the hearing in Conciliation Council today, of the seagoing ships-carpenters’ dispute. The dispute concerns the Union Steam Ship Company only.
