A Press Association messa'ge announced the death at Kurow of Mr. Robert W. Trotter, aged -eighty years, farmer, and formerly a well-, known competitor at dog trials. He was the first president of the South Island Dog Trials’ Association, and was also vice-president of the North Otago Crown Tenants’ Association, chairman of the Waitaki Farmers’ Freezing Company, and patron of the North Otago Miniature Rifle Associa-I tion.—Press Assn.
