Tongariro Results WELLINGTON. August 1. The annual sports of the Tongariro Ski Club were held at Mount Kuapehu National Park in satisfactory weather. Saturday’s results were as follows:— Men’s Downhill Race.—D. Cameron (Hawke’s Bay) 1; M. Collier (National Park) 2, W. M. Anderson (Auckland) 3. Men’s Novice Race. —R. Dowie (Auckland) 1; S. H. Bailey 2, S. A. Wilson 3. , Further events will be held on Monday. The first of a series of friendly contests between the visiting American ski-runners and the New * Zealand team was held on Saturday.
