BOXING

GREYMOUTH ASSOCIATION. Mr. A. Beban, presided at a meeting of the Executive of the Greymouth Boxing and Wrestling Association, at which motions of condolence were oassed with Messrs J. Steel, H. Duggan, A. Grogan and Mrs. G. Burger. Arrangements were completed for the Dominion amateur championships to be held at Greymouth on September 9, 10, and 11, and various committees were appointed. Messrs J. Steel and F. H. Denton were appointed delegates to the New Zealand Boxing Conference. It was decided to nominate Messrs Earle Stewart (Wellington), C. Thomas (Westport) and Frank O’Neill (Greymouth) as referees, and Messrs L. O’Neill and N. Kiely, as judges, for the New ZealaniWihampionships.
