(Per (Pless Association). WELLINGTON, June 3. The weather report and forecast are as follows:— General situation: A deep westerly depression extends across South Tasman Sea on to 'the Dominion, while pressure is relatively high to the north. Forecast: Winds moderate to strong, north-westerly to wes|terily, reaching gale force at 'times south of Kawhia and Napier, and backing later in places to south-westerly. iSeasi (N.Z. waters): Rough south of Kawhia and about Cook and Foveaux Strains, and rising north of Kawhia; elsewhere slight to moderate in coastal waters. Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong winds between north-west and west, of gale ; force at (times; backing later to sou'th-westerlies; seas rough. Weather fair at firlst in eastern coastal areas, but otherwise squally and changeable,, with intermittent rain, and some heavy falls in the districts with a westerly aspect- Thunder anil hail arle probable is places-
