NAZI CAMPAIGN
AGAINST CHURCH. . BERLIN, June 1. It is learned that th e German protest to the Vatican declared the Holy See must realise that by its refusal publicly to reprimand Cardinal Munde-« lein it destroyed th n conditions necessary for normal relations between Germany and the Holy See. Political circles indicate the Note is intended in the nature of an ultimatum foreshadowing the rupture of diplomatic relations unless satisfaction is given.
