These facts which were (related in the Magistrate’s Court t< r day resulted in the appearanc e of John Lesll ® Pulton, on a change unde; Section 84 of the Health Act. 1910, of obstructing an order for th. removal ot his child to hospital. > It was pointed out that th e defendant had recently lost aj child from, diphtheria and two others lad developed it. T-i, Upon counsel for the defendant being assured that the orde' was rightly made, he said there wa» no defence to th 0 charge, and, aftef conferring with defendant, intimated that he would now giv e an undertaking that there would be'no further! obstruction. Counsel pleaded the very, extenuating circumstances. j The case was adjournei until tomorrow morning.
