MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEET. Air A. H. MciKane (President) presided at last evening’s meeting of the Alanagement Committee of the We it Coast Rugby League. There were also present, Alessi's J. Stokes, W. Barlow, J. Anisy, B. Rathbun, A .Fielding (referees), R. J. Harrington (secretary). Apologies wore received from Alessrs A. Kyle, W. O’Neill and B. Ramsay. Air C. A. Legg, Stationmaster, wan. ed on the League in reference to schoolboys travelling. The discussion was taken in commit, tee. Kumara Chub’s application for one registration was received. Th e Inangahua Rugby League SubCentre wrote further in reefrenee to their excursion of June 18th, to Chrsit. church. The secretary said that the excursion would take place on the following week.- • It was decided t 0 leave the matter over for a week, dub’s opinions being asked for in the meantime. Th e Referees’ Association wrote, ask. ing if the Centre would approve of a meeting on the evening of the next representative match. ■ The letter was received. The Association advised that it bad not been notified of the schoolboys’ games last Saturday. The chairman said that there had been a shortage, bin this was due to the fact that the Association had not been notified. Marirt Club made application for th e transfer of L. Stewart. Pearson D. Alulqueen and S. Alulqueen, from Pirates Club, -and the reclassification of D. and S. Alulqueen from senior to junior. The action of the emergency committee in granting the applications was approved. The New Zealand League asked the League to nominate a 'South Island Selector. It was decided to nominate Air I-. Hunter for the position.
