LABOUR PARTY

GREYMOUTH BRANCH. Mr P- O’Farrell (President) occupied the choir at the monthly meeting of the Groymouth Branch of the New Zealand Labour Party. Thirty members were present, and apologies weie received I'ro'm Mr and Airs J. O’Brien and' several other members. A’ list of 26 member of- the Loco, motive, Engine-drivers, Firemen and Cleaners’ Association willing to contribute 3d per week towards the funds of the party was received. A letter was received from Hon. D. G. Sullivan, Minister of Railways, thanking the branch for a book of views of the West Coast. • Twelve applications from new members were icccived and approved. A lengthy discussion on' the party’s platform followed Uh 3 business of the meeting.
