FOUR MILE RELAY RECORD. (Received April 25, 6.30 p.m.) PHILADELPHIA, April 25. Indiana University team ran a world’s record four-mile relay in 17 minues 16 1 seconds at the Pennsylvania Relay Carnival. The record was due mostly to a 4 min 14 see second leg by Jimmy Smith, a Negro.
