OSHAWA STRIKE

A Settlement

AT PREMIER’S OFFICE (Aus. & N.Z. Gable Assn.) (Received April 23 at 1.30 p.m.) TORONTO, April 23. An agreement to end the strike of employees of the General Motors Corporation at Oshawa has been reached. It was in the office of the Premier of Ontario. Mr M. Hepburn, by the representatives of the company and of the strikers, subject to approval by the strikers. All of the parties have declined to reveal the terms.

The company representatives said the plant would be re-opened on Monday if the strikers ratify the agreement.
