U.S.A. JEALOUSY TRAGEDY.
(Received April 23. 11.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON. April 23
A message from Moultris in Georgia, states that a woman, Mae Wilkes, aged 30 who was indicted in Moultris on April 5 on a charge of uttering defamatory statements against another woman, Mrs Stephenson, aßed 40, was shot dead in the street, three bullets from a revolver, which was hidden in a paper bag, striking her. Mrs Stephenson, who is the mother of three children, surrendered to the sheriff with th c request: “Take me to gaol.” i i a Mrs Stephenson and her husband were separated recontjy. The sheriff said that jealousy was involved in the dispute between the two women.
