REV W- WILLS AT ST PAUL’SThere was a large gathering at f Paul’s Methodist- Church on Wednesday evening for the induction of the Rev W- Wills as minister in charge of the circuit- Rev W- E- Allon Carr, of Hokitika, conducted the service, and he was assisted by Rev Charles Dickens, of Reefton. In hisi address Mr Carr spoke of the real necessity for personal contact between the minister and his congregation, likening the minister to 'the Shepherd of PalestineMr Dickens, in his address to the congregation pointed out the fact that the minister ‘should be relieved much as possible from the organ ; tion of the circuit, and in this way be able to fulfil his main task-—that < ( presenting the Christian teaching to a greater degreeDuring the service, a solo was rei dered by Miss' J.
