RIFLE SHOOTING
MINIATURE SEASON OPENS. The Grey Miniature Rifle Club opened the, season at the new range in Mawhera Quay/ with the President v. Vice-president’s match. Some firstclass shooting, was registered. S. Sharman was top scorer with a fine possible, the first to be registered on the new range. • The result was a draw, each team scoring 814. The following were the> scores:—
President’s team: President J. Efford 74, J. Cowie 77, R. Simmers 76, A. Robertson 76, F. Molloy 76, J. Seorgie jun., 75, R. Ellery 75, M. Ellery 74, J. Phillips 72, W.- Bailey 70, D. Blocksage 69; total 814. Vice-president’s team: Vice-presi-dent T. Nankervill 74, S. Sharman 80, C. Richardson 79,' S. Davy 77, E. R. Moss 75, M. Garth 73 J. Seorgie, jun., 73, F. Williams 73, L. Hughes 71, J. Molloy 70, J. Jackson 69; total 814.
