YOUNG WOMAN
DROWNED IN FENDALTON STREAM. /Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 7. Mercia Joyce Blakeway, single, aged 23, fell into Wairarapa stream, at the back of her home in Fendalton, yes. terday aft er noion. She was taken to the hospital, after artificial respiration had been tried, but was dead on arrival. A post mortem examination has been ordered by the Coroner.
