APPOINTMENTS GAZETTED. (British Official Wireless). RUGBY, March 2. A long list of appointments to the King’s Household is gazetted. Among the principal are the .following:— Lord Chamberlain, the Earl of Cromwell; Lord Steward, the Duke of Buecleugh and Queensberry; Master of the Horse, the Duke of Beaufort; Treasurer to the Household, Sir George Penny; Comptroller of the Household, Sir Lambert Ward; Viee.Chamberlain of the Household, Sir George Davies ; Private Secretary, Major Alexander Handinge; Assistant-Private Seerettar. ies, Mr F. H. Mitchell, Mr A. F. Las. eelles and Sir Eric Mel'ivlle; Keeper of the King’s Archives, Lord Wigram; Keeper of the Privy (Purse, Major Ulick Alexander; Financial Secretary to the King, Mr F. P. Robinson; High Almoner, the Archbishop of Canterbury (the Most Rev. Dr. Cosmo Gor. don Lang); Prebendary Archville is appointed Precentor of the Chapels Royal.
Under the heading of the Medical Household, there are 35 appointments, headed by Lord Dawson of Penn, Lord Horder, Sir John Weir, and Sir Mau rice Cassidy. The appointments include those of the Australian, Sir Thomas Dunhill, ag surgeon, and the New Zea.
