Westfield Stoppage 80 MEN CONCERNED. AUCKLAND, March 3. A dispute over the conditions of employment of four men in the Dispatch Department of the Westfield Chemical Manure Works, of Kempthbrne Prosser and Company’s New Zealand Drug Company Limited, resulted in a complete stoppoge of work in the department shortly after 11 a.m. when about 80 men. walked off their jobs. A meeting of the men was s'ubsequently held and the secretary of the Otahuhu Chemical Manure Workers’ Union, Mr W. Miller, arranged for the issues concerning the wages to be brought before the Conciliation Council in Auckland to-morrow,.pending the result of -which,- the men' would resume (work. The Union embraces the work;ers in three other works, namely Ota!huhu. Te Papapa and Huntly.
