BRUNNER NOTES
(Our Own Correspondent.) A meefng of the Amateur Athletic Club was held in Drummond’s room, Wa'lsend, on Tuesday night,. Mr J Ga.llaghen presiding oveir an attendance of twenty-two members. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was received and approved. Mr John Wick, Dobson, wa s elected a vice-pre-sident. Mr G. Meagher was appointed carrier for the transport of boxing material to and from Greymouth. It was moved that the club accept the, 8.0.8. A. resolution to forgo the 50-50 basis, with thanks. A committee was elected to make arrangements to cater for the visitors on the night of the tournament, October 31st, and to report to- the club for finalisation. The Coconut Grove Dance Band from Dunedin arc holding a dance in Wallsend Hall on Saturday night. Miss S. Geoghan, Dobson,, is an inmate of the Grey Hospital. Mr S. A. Fry returns this morning to Christchurch.
