TEAMS TO AIEET SPRINGBOKS. WELLINGTON, October 21. The question of trial matches to assist in the pick.mg of the All Black teams to meet, the Springboks was discussed To-night by the Alanagement C'nnmi’ttee of the; New Zealand Rugby Union. Tt was stated that the trials wou'd have to be held late in Alay or ( >a.rly in .Tune, as the Springboks would be : n New Zealand in July.
Messrs S. S. Dean, A. McDonald and F. T. Glasgow were appointed a sub-comm; ttee to consider a schedule of trial games. If was mentioned that the annual inter-provincial games wou’d be played on June 23, in.nd Hics< would also be) watched by the selectors.
