The Harbour Office last evening re ported that the depth on the, bar at high water yesterday was 27ft. The Karu has been delayed by the rain, and is now expected to sail this morning for Miramar, Petenc,. and Wellington. She returns on October 27 to again ioad for the same ports. The Kartigi is load'ng for Wellington, and will satl probably to-night. The James Cook is to sail to-dav with timber for Sydney.

The Poolta. leaves Auckland on Friday for Greymouth, via Ports, with cargo. She is dun on October 29, to load for Auckland and Portland. Thci Gabriel'a is due about October 27, from Wellington, to load for return. The Omana, which left Adelaide last Friday for New Zealand ports, has a small quantity of cargo for Grevniouth. The Kaitoa from Wellington with general cargo for Westport and Greymouth is due to-morro'w. The Hokitika, was to leave Wellington last.night with general cargo for Westport, Greymouth and Hokitika. The Titoki 'is due . to-morrow from Onehunga, via Nelson anj Westport, to load coal for Ta’rakohe. The Waimea was to leave New Plymouth yesterday for ,Greymouth ( . to load -timber for Port Waikato. She is due to-night. The Rata is to sail, to-day with coal and timber for Picton. She returns on Monday to load coal and timber for Gisborne.
