The plot, failed because the Radicals lacked the course, to pursue their programme;. They engaged in bombing on October 3,. causing n mill Von pesos damage,, but went no further. The authorities have affirmed that they have exposed a plan to rot Manila city on fire, and to assassinate high officials. including th<\ United States ; ITFgh The authorities added that it is im po-ss’b'e to outlaw the Sakdal movement, since it is nominally a political unit.
